Before 1987the company was the State-owned the First Zhengzhou Machinery and Equipment Factory, major in producing mining machinery, combined the design and production of other machinery and equipment for nation-building projects. 

In 1987the company was responsive to the needs of reform and opening, made asset consolidation and implemented reform, and established the “Henan Fote Mining Machinery Co., Ltd.”, focusing on research and development, design and production of mining machinery for traditional dominant events. 

In 1990the company combined with the coal information Institute of the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision, and became the product trial manufacturing base of latest technology of the Institute.

In 1994backbone technical staff of Fote Machinery completed retraining at Coal Research Institute, and established “Fote mining machinery research and experimental base” in Fote company, paving the way for lifting equipment technology and production processes. 

In 1996Fote Machinery carried out long-term cooperation with the 15th Engineering Bureau of China Railway Engineering, to provide equipment supply, technical guidance and maintenance work of stone crushing production line for the 15th Engineering Bureau of China Railway Engineering.

In 2002Fote Machinery applied for settling in the high-tech development zone, Zhengzhou city, and been passed, and then began to build large-scale production workshop with 50,000 square meters. 

In 2003the large-scale production plant covering an area of 50,000 square meters completed, and Fote Machinery went into its “Era in High-tech Zone”. 

In 2004Fote Machinery held the activities of “Try to be the first to do something” and “put forward to ideas to promote production and ensure safety”, which greatly improved the product qualified rate and productivity. 

In 2005Fote Machinery passed the ISO9001:2000 international quality system certification.

In April of 2005Fote Machinery was named the “garden unit” of high-tech development zone, Zhengzhou city. 

In June of 2005high-tech development zone, Zhengzhou city became the academician of China Gravel Association.

In the whole 2005products made by Fote Machinery made sales breakthrough one after another in South-East Asia, Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East and other regions. 

In June of 2006Fote Machinery was named “advanced member” by China Gravel Association, and the overall ranking of Fote products and equipment is “superior”. 

In the whole 2006the sales of products made by Fote Machinery in international market had grown steadily, and the market feedback was good. 

In March of 2007Fote Machinery passed the European Union CE certification.

In June of 2007Fote Machinery gained a bulk order from United States customers, so that its products entered markets in North America and other developed regions. 

In September of 2007Fote Machinery passed the GOST (gosudarstvennyy standart) formulated by the Russian Federation.

In March of 2008Fote Machinery gained the title of “Zhengzhou innovative production and management unit”.

In June of 2008Fote Machinery aligned with the fourth design and research institute of Ministry of Machine Building to form “mutual assistance between institute and enterprise”, to promote deep integration of research and scientific production. 

In 2009Fote Machinery made university-industry cooperation with Engineering Institute of Zhengzhou University, Mechanics Institute of Henan University of Technology, and Physics Institute of Henan University of Science and Technology, achieving a good combination of teaching and practice. 

In 2010Fote Machinery gained the “Outstanding Contribution Award of Foreign Enterprise in Native Place” awarded by South Africa’s Chamber of Mines.

In 2011Fote Machinery was awarded the “Top Ten Outstanding Contribution Award” from Henan Provincial Government, and Henan Provincial Government called for the Henan machinery industry manufacturers in Henan province to learn from the top ten companies.

Since 2012According to the data from “Report on imports and exports of construction machinery market in China”, the exports of Fote Machinery ranked top three in mining machinery industry for 5 consecutive years, and the annual sales in 2012 also reached 490 million Yuan.
